Third Person Shooter
A downloadable game for Windows
I developed this game while learning the basics of Unreal Engine 4. It is a single level and definitely not a complete game.
-It shows basics of HUD design (HP, weapon switcher, crosshair)
- Multiple weapon and enemy types
- Two pick up types (health and two different ammo types)
- Data tables to keep the weapon rarity and inventory data
- Basic shooter mechanics (aim, reload mechanics, extra damage for headshot)
- Complex ground locomotion with crouch, aim, lean, rotate, and used IK/FABRIK to keep both hands on the weapon
- Basic enemy AI using built in behavior trees and custom enemy controller
- Item pickups with material effects and animations when picked up
All assets are from Epic store permanently free collection.
I made this game following this tutorial.
